Glenn began his career in 1939 in Heaven With a Barbed Wire Fence, and always said that his favorite movies were Westerns. He was pretty good with a horse. He was an exercise boy when he was 12 years old and was once named the best rider in motion pictures by the Arizona Wranglers Association. He did all his own riding and stunt work.
